Congresswoman Bush Urges Fair Resolution for Anheuser-Busch, Teamsters Amid Ongoing Contract Negotiations
Washington, D.C. (Feb. 28, 2024) — Today, Congresswoman Cori Bush (MO-01) sent a letter to Anheuser-Busch Companies and Sean O’Brien, President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters regarding ongoing contract negotiations affecting 5,000 workers at 12 Anheuser-Busch breweries across the country, including 465 workers in Missouri’s First Congressional District.
“I hope that a fair solution can be reached in these negotiations between Anheuser-Busch and my constituents,” wrote Congresswoman Bush. “As the Member of Congress representing the St. Louis Brewery, I know how essential these workers are to our community, as well as the importance of job security for my constituents to ensure they can care for their families and plan for retirement. Furthermore, local businesses rely on the spending power of a steady and consistent customer base.”
