Congressional District Internship in St. Louis

The office of Congresswoman Cori Bush (MO-01) is seeking energetic, organized, and creative individuals to join a dynamic team intent on doing the most for everyone in St. Louis, starting with those who have the least. District team members assist the Congresswoman with constituent casework, update the Congresswoman on everyday events in the First District, and keep the community connected to the Congresswoman’s work. District team members also staff and assist with community events. Candidates must be able to work with patience and skill in resolving constituent casework and handle multiple tasks and issues effectively while making sure agencies respond in a timely manner. A successful candidate will be able to work independently and think outside the box about various constituent issues and community events. Prior community or casework experience is helpful. Ideal candidates will have significant experience interacting with the St. Louis community, excellent writing and communication skills and a working knowledge or strong interest in the St. Louis region and engaging its local stakeholders.
