Congressional District Internship in St. Louis
 

Congresswoman Cori Bush (MO-01) is seeking a congressional intern to join a dynamic team intent on doing the most for everyone in St. Louis, starting with those who have the very least. The congressional Intern will have the opportunity to serve in a wide range of capacities. You will provide support for the overall day-to- day operations, including but not limited to, writing correspondence, handling mail, managing phone calls, working on special projects and assisting in planning events. You will also have the opportunity to support and learn firsthand knowledge about the day to day operations of a congressional office both legislatively and administratively. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to expand their professional abilities and profile as they will gain experience supporting the diverse facets of Capitol Hill. DESIRED


QUALIFICATIONS: An ideal candidate will be compassionate and kind, have professional telephone etiquette, passion and love for people and a commitment to altruism; reliability, and proficiency in Office 365, Google Suite and Slack preferred. Applicants with excellent research and writing skills will excel in this position. Must be a team player, flexible and easily adaptable to change; must feel comfortable asking questions.
